Dr.
Miller received her dental degree (DMD) and her specialty dental
training in Periodontics from the University of Pittsburgh School
of Dental Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She also received
her Masters Degree in Periodontics (MDS) and taught at the University
of Pittsburgh for four years after completing her dental education.
Dr. Miller later moved to Atlanta, Georgia to teach at Emory University
as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics. She
entered full time private practice in Decatur, Georgia in 1988 serving
her community and the surrounding Metro Atlanta area. She has received
additional advanced training in the surgical placement of dental
implants used to replace missing teeth and in the use of dental
lasers in the treatment of gum disease. Dr. Miller has been certified
as a Diplomate by the American Board of Periodontology. She is an
active member in the American Academy of Periodontology, the Southern
Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the
Georgia Dental Association and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
